About Danielle

Danielle's journey into the world of criminal investigation began at a young age, sparked by an unsolved serial killer case in her small town. This experience piqued her curiosity about the minds of criminals and why they commit such heinous acts. Years later, she attended a conference where she met Private Investigator Sheila Wysocki and became deeply involved in one of her cases. Sheila became Danielle's mentor, teaching her the ins and outs of the investigative trade and never dismissing her ideas as inadequate.

In 2020, Danielle made the bold decision to leave her long-held career and join Sheila full-time. She dedicated herself to honing her skills by taking various courses and acquiring certifications in forensic interviewing, criminal defense investigation, and private investigation. With Sheila's guidance, Danielle became a skilled investigator in her own right and is fully licensed in multiple states.

One memorable experience for Danielle was conducting witness interviews and surveillance in Texas. In the scorching heat of September, the team worked tirelessly to secure an interview with a crucial witness who had never spoken publicly before. While Danielle stayed in the vehicle, surveilling the interview, the witness agreed to speak with Sheila and the other investigator. However, the car's engine shut off, leaving Danielle stranded in the sweltering heat. Despite the discomfort, Danielle understood that investigating is not always glamorous or comfortable but emphasized its importance in solving cases.

Danielle's dedication and hard work paid off when she witnessed the Jonathan Crews case reach a resolution. After years of volunteering and assisting on the case, it finally went to civil trial in 2022, resulting in a unanimous verdict that Bren da Lazaro was responsible for Jonathan's death. The jury awarded an unprecedented $206 million to the Crews family. The case gained further recognition when it was featured on Dateline in April 2023.

Throughout her career, Danielle has developed a deep understanding of the significance of her work. She believes that crime has no time and that investigating is not limited to a 9-5 job. She prioritizes responding to every email, text, and voicemail, acknowledging the importance of providing support to victims' families during their most challenging times. Danielle recognizes the heartbreaking yet rewarding nature of her work and strives to be a voice for those who can no longer speak for themselves.
